| I'd like to put some more descriptive text on the photographs. I should be grateful for inputs from those who were involved or from those who know more about the pictures. ED ******* Anyone who flew F1A's with the Wattisham TFF is asked to get in touch. |

| Sad to report that Roger Chick died suddenly on 14 Jan 2012 in Cupar. He was some two months short of his 80th birthday. Roger flew Lightnings on 56, 74 and 92 Sqns and 226 OCU. The funeral service will be held at Kirkcaldy Crematorium on 27 Jan 2012. Our deepest sympathy goes to his children, Katherine and Steve, and to their families. |

| At the Robertsbridge Aviation Society Museum, amongst many other items, we have the cockpit section of English Electric Lightning F3 XP701. I am building up a history of XP701 plus an on-line photo gallery I was wondering if you might be able to pass on my request for any information, photos or corrections on this particular airframe please?
In particular, I wonder if any former pilots of this aircraft have anything of note in their log books? It would be good to hear from any former pilots who were with; 29 Squadron from September 1967 to September 1970 or May 1973 to October 1974 111 Squadron from September 1970 to February 1972 56 Squadron from March 1975 to March 1978 11 Squadron from March 1978 to May 1984 5 Squadron from May 1984 to February 1985 Thanks in anticipation.
