| Ian Thomson died on 23 Aug 10 after a very long period of illness Ian, who was 74, served his first tour on 66 Sqn (Hunters). He then went on to serve on 11, 23, 92 and 111 (Lightning) Sqns and on the Fighter Command Trials Unit. He also flew the T38 and F106 with the USAF and the Spitfire and Hurricane with the BBMF.
